Classes & Tuition

From cold reading and improv, to scene study and auditioning, the opportunities at Lifebook are limitless.

Lifebook Acting Academy offers opportunities for growth to a wide array of artists. Whether you’re an actor, musician, or anything else inside, outside, or in-between, this class is a great starting point to launch or rediscover your career.

If you consider yourself a/an…

– Person who is interested in acting or “the industry,” looking to better express themselves in life, or interested in self-discovery
– Actor who hasn’t acted in years, feels “rusty” and wants to get back into shape, or wants to act professionally
– Professional actor looking to book more consistently, their first Series Regular, Feature Lead, or their breakout role
– Former Series Regular looking for their next series or major career break
– Current Series Regular looking to work on their character or other roles
– Writer who would like to write on a higher level, improve their skills, or test and revise content with actors
– Professional writer looking to move to the next level and improve their content
– Director who is at the beginning stage in their directing career
– Professional director who is looking to improve their content and skill with actors
– Producer who would like to improve and are interested in acting
– Musician looking to improve stage presence and communication skills

Then this course is right for you!

Have you ever had an interest in acting? Do you love movies, plays, and/or Estelle Getty? If so, this class is for you!

Unlike many acting courses offered throughout Los Angeles, Lifebook offers a low-stress, flexible approach to the craft where students may come in, have fun, improve, and return to their regular week–as opposed to being held responsible for outside preparation, which is encouraged, but not required!

This class is geared toward people (from ages 18 to 108 years old!) that would like to explore acting for fun, self-discovery, self-confidence, but not necessarily to be a professional actor. Students will work both on dramatic and comedic acting, as well as sharpening improvisational skills through many fun games that will be taught and played on stage! Students will learn acting technique and will be given a foundation for truthful artistic expression.

We are so excited to meet you!

Advanced students enrolled at Lifebook with either be assigned this level or go through the “move up” process. Some paths may progress quicker than others, but each journey matters!
